The 2nd MEIHODO International Youth Visual Media F

Opening the door to New Stories for a New Era
With the rapid development of science and technology today, more advanced and diverse forms of media and visual technology has enabled human interactions to enter a completely new era.
The 2nd Annual MEIHODO International Youth Visual Media Festival is moving with the times and adopting an attitude of openness, as it continues to update the perspectives of visual media, accepting short films produced with new technology, new methods and new concepts, opening up the scope of call for applications to countries and regions including North America, Vietnam, Guangxi Province, Guizhou Province and Dalian City of China, with works from universities including Tongji University, Xi’an University of Technology, Kyoto University, Kyushu Sangyo University, Harvard University and New York University taking part in the competition for the first time.
This edition of the festival has seen a greater degree of diversity and internationalization, with works coming from major colleges and universities in China, Japan, the United States and Vietnam.
The MEIHODO International Youth Visual Media Festival this year has strengthened cooperation with local media, formed an alliance with the Fukuoka-based television station RKB Mainichi Broadcasting, and even attracted the CCTV-6 film and television channel, Tencent Entertainment, and first-rate media from Japan to report on the event.
The media festival this year will continue to uphold its mission of “fostering the growth of a new generation of youth media talent,” contributing to the purpose of promoting interactions and development in international media circles and cultivating a new generation of professional media production talent.
